Our favourite walk - down Hawthorn Dene
20+ Marsh Tit, half dozen each of Nuthatch & Treecreeper
Lots of fresh Badger tracks in the soft mud
Beach actually starting to resemble a beach !
Oddest thing was the stream - running steadily up the top end - but vanished somewhere half way down & bone dry by the railway bridge.... wheres the water gone ?
MDrake Goosander out on the sand bank fighting for White-sliced with the Gulls 10' away.
