Ate Jacks

An icy Jack feeding

& a record shot

at least 8 seen today close to Flushing Meadows, concentrated by several days of icy weather - the most ive seen at one spot for a couple of winters.

one landed on this dry bank amongst the leaf litter - it still blended in superbly !

seems to have been a good day for them, heres a cracking pic from Gateshead Birders Website - taken by Paul Davison :-

    Great pics, I especially like the Goosanders on the front though. Great job.

    Hi Steve, No way is there a Jack on Pic 4! I've looked til I'm boggle eyed :)If there is please post a highlighted picture....
