Waders passing through include :- Golden Plover, Whimbrel, Spotted Redshank 3 on 9th, 1 14th, Greenshank, Wood Sandpiper, Green Sandpiper, Common Snipe
Ruff(above) , Bar tailed Godwit (coast), Dunlin, but only a single Common Sand, although 4 Little ringed Plover remain till 17th at least. The Little Egrets tailed of, with a single during the first week
Reed Warblers pasing through & singing away from Phragmites at non-breeding sites , passage Willow Warbler singing at home in suburban gardens, Cuckoos moving on 3rd & 16th, Hobby 2nd, 3rd, & 13th, Marsh Harriers 1st, 11th, 15th, with Goshawk early in moth

Whinchat 13th , Tree Pipit 12th , up to 7 Yellow Wagtails at 3 sites- a very good year for these locally, several Wheatears, Crossbills & Meadow Pipits passing over
Red Necked Grebe - a summer plumaged adult from 14th (only third patch record, the last in the mid 90's )
5 Quail still singing up to 16th at 3 sites, singles of Lesser Whitethroat, Grasshopper & Garden Warblers all seen in central study areas on 12th
Black Tern 9th, with Common Terns fading away;
Gulls including several Med Gulls including a RMs juv 13th,

Wildfowl, Teal re-appearing with up to 20 at RMs, also 1-2 passage Shoveller & Gadwall from mid month
Barn Owls making a modest appearance at 3 spots with still dependant Long-eared families at 3 sites.
