Butter be

An early afternoon appointment was over in a flash & saw me near the Croc's Tail & a look round the estate was on the cards, but i realised i'd Butter be quick.

High-lights :- pair of Mandarin on the Wear,  Kingfisher flying in to perch below me,  pre-roost assembly of 2,000 each of Jackdaw & Wood Pigeon,  5 or more Water Rail,  1Little Owl  &  more Tree Spugs !,

Watched in song :- Dipper,  Mistle Thrush & slightly more unexpectedly, a Bullfinch.

Lo-lights :- no Half - inch

A new stone forestry track making the job a lot easier, cutting out the long clarty downhill section.

Todays favourite quote " You are no nearer to catching me know than you were 3 months ago".
