? possible Citrine Wagtail ?

a striking wagtail at Castle Lake yesterday, between the farmyard & the lake.

a very pale / grey bird ( def not an alba wagtail of any type )

very windy so not a very good image

unfortunately the head is shaded & hides some detail but bird showed :-
all dark bill,  pale between eye & bill, prominant eye stripe & pale diffuse margin around the edges of the cheek.
lot of black & white on wings

Call wasnt as sweet as usual Yellow wagtail - i have read up, and scratchy does seem to be a good description.

If it hadnt been so breezy, id probably have spent more time on this bird -
i didnt give it too much thought as i rushed to the hide to avoid a downpour -
reviewed photo this morning....

hopefully one of the regulars Neil, Brian, John or someone else might get a look at
...
