a few years since ive seen one of these, continued on for a rare trip to the Tees marshes - very quiet down here, hardly a birder to be seen - they must have been elsewhere ?

A new garden tick this morning - a Cuckoo north past our attic window at 06:30 heading for Houghton Cut
& one for the local patch yearlist - a Crossbill over our heads on the school walk
