Stonechat - The Writings off the Wall

Nice to find & study some Stonechats today -
How do they get through all that snow & ice (& Sparrowhawks !)  in such exposed locations-
a pair & a lone female along this stretch
cock Stonechat

plenty of rubble & broken down buildings, but no Black Redstarts...

The Writings off the Wall - "THIS IS YOUR COUNCIL"

Someone went to a lot of trouble to spell this out on an old railway embankment beside some waste ground.

While watching the chats, a Snow Bunting flew low overhead calling - it came down nr the Paper Mill.
#106 for the S'land yr list.
Doesnt appear to be too many around at the moment.
